Year 4 Primary Teacher – One-Term Contract (April 2025 – July 2025)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 4 Primary Teacher to join a ‘Good’ rated primary school in Reading. This one-term contract starts April 21st 2025, and runs until the end of the academic year in July 2025, with the potential to extend into a permanent position in September 2025.
Located in a well-connected area, the school is part of a supportive academy trust, ensuring a positive and nurturing environment for both staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to Year 4 students
- Take full responsibility for classroom teaching, including planning and assessing
- Provide tailored support to help all students achieve their potential
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a productive learning environment
Essential Requirements:
- Must be a qualified teacher
- Previous experience teaching KS2, ideally with Year 4
- Right to work in the UK is essential
