We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Oxfordshire, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join their team ASAP. The candidate will specialise in French and Spanish. This is a full-time role offering an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in students’ language learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in French and Spanish to students at KS3 and KS4 levels (potentially KS5 depending on experience).
- Assess, record, and report on student progress, ensuring learners reach their full potential.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters enthusiasm for languages.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning and departmental activities.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold the school’s standards and values.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching French and Spanish in a secondary school setting.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to suit varying needs.
