Quantum Scholars are working closely with a highly regarded secondary school in Bedfordshire that is currently seeking an experienced Design and Technology Teacher to join their dynamic team in September 2025. This will be a full-time, permanent position.
The school hiring are based in Bedfordshire and are a mixed comprehensive secondary school. They are rated as a “Good” school by Ofsted. They’re a school with a vibrancy and passion for everyone to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality and engaging Design and Technology lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Develop and implement creative and innovative teaching methods to engage students in the subject.

Support the delivery of the curriculum and ensure that lessons are aligned with the school’s educational goals and standards.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.

Contribute to the development of the school’s extra-curricular activities related to Design and Technology.

Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and participate in school-wide initiatives.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Design and Technology teacher, ideally in a secondary school setting.

A strong understanding of the Design and Technology curriculum, with the ability to teach across a variety of topics and projects.

Passion for the subject and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Must have the right to work in the UK.

Must be available for a September 2025 start.
